The hotel is a beautiful countryhouse with stunning sorroundings and a lovely and private swimming pool. The dining room where breakfast is served is stunning as well. The owners are very kind, friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help us out and make us feel welcome - exceeding our expectations. It is a quite hotel, very picturesque and relaxing.

The host and hostess were extremely warm and hospitable, the swimming pool was large and well-maintained and the grounds were lovely.
Our room was located at ground level and had only glass doors to the outside for entry and no other window, which meant there was no possibility of fresh air in the night. Breakfast was lovely, but 15€ per person was way too much to ask for it - and 80€ was also a steep price for the room, especially given the remote location.

When you are looking for a chambre d'hote for Relais et Chateau prices, you are at the right place. Hardly comfort, strange receiving of guests, very basic styling, no radio, no tv, very noisy rooms (therefore no tv!), no minibar, no restaurant, the 'bar' we only saw in the morning, and a very minimal breakfast (especially the fruit looked old). Good thing: nespresso coffee! And that all for Euro 130,00! Exclusive Euro 24,00 for this continental breakfast. What a negative experience......The text in the bookings advertisement should be changed, as this is not what one would expect at all.

Relaxful, old world charm bed and breakfast situated in an ancient wine processing establishment. Wonderful French breakfast compliments the stay.

An excellent hotel - incredibly warm welcome - Dominique, Christian and Henri couldn't have been more helpful, delicious food - the best evening meal I had in Bordeaux, lovely swimming pool to relax by. Thoroughly recommended
No negative points - expect to pay approx. 130 € (room) + 12 € p.p(breakfast) + 30 € p.p (evening meal) + drinks. Worth every centime

Clos du Prince really took our breath away. The location among vineyards in Entre Deux Mers, the beauty of the chateau itself and the warm hospitality of Dominique and Christian were truly magical. I was very pleasantly surprised by how new everything was as my experience of hotels in France is that they are not up to UK/Irish star ratings. Not the case here, it was excellent value for money. There is something very special about this place.
The pool was too cold for me to swim in but my boyfriend did try.

Very tasteful interior of former wine chateau. Owners are very nice and hospitable couple. Location in the middle of the vinyards between the cities of Bordeaux and St. Emillion

Excellent breakfast and delicious tea selection. Beautiful surrounding gardens and countryside. Building restored very well.
My room was outside the main building, with no windows, apart from glass French doors for entrance. No wifi connection here - and also wifi inside house did not work. Not good value for money in my view, as I was charged same price as for other rooms inside main house.
